I am interested in learning how to quilt. Have not used my sewing machine in over 25 years also.
I am new to Kingsville and newly retired and would like to learn something new.
i apologize for not seeing this sooner. Come out to one of meetings. Next meeting is Tuesday Feb. 21, 7 pm. If you haven’t already attended, we’d love to have you! It’s a great group always willing to help out someone learning:)
December 2012 – A beautiful quilt was received by our father in the Tilbury Manor Nursing home for Christmas. It is very thoughtful of you to donate to the elderly with the thoughts of keeping them comfortable and warm. You are a generous and talented group. Thankyou and best wishes to all. Susan Armstrong and Mary Ellen Bryden
I want to “Thank You” ladies for your gift to the Slave Lake quilters who lost everything. It was a real blessing to me, and really encouraged me to take up sewing again. Its been difficult to start some of these things again, not sure why. Your gift has made a difference for me, thanks.
Hello, my mother is a resident of Country Village Nursing Home. I would like to extend a heartfelt thankyou to all the wonderful people involved with Erie Shore Guild. She loves her new quilt. She took me around the Village to show me all the beautiful quilts donated to the residents. What a lovely Christmas surprise. She told me that the other day , she fell asleep, for a little nap, on top of her bedding and when she woke up, one of the caring staff had covered her with her quilt. She told me that she didn’t want to get up!!!!!
Thankyou very much ! Happy New Year to All…..Sincerely “a thankful daughter”
