Harrow Fair Sesquicentennial Quilt Project
The 150th Anniversary of Canada will be celebrated on July 1, 2017. The Needle Arts building of the Harrow Fair is promoting a project to celebrate this anniversary. Bonnie (Mitchell) Wilson, Old School Line Quilting, Woodstock, ON (she is hometown Harrow girl who has never forgotten her roots) is our very generous sponsor by contributing $150 for the first prize quilt! Second prize, $100, sponsored by Quilting Confections! Third prize, $75, sponsored by SewCraft!
Need ideas?
 There have been many red and white quilt exhibitions, the most recent (2014) in Houston, TX.
 There are videos on You Tube of the Exhibition in New York in 2011, called “Infinite Variety: Three Centuries of Red and White Quilts”
 Check out Pinterest also, there are many pictures if you search red and white quilts for ideas.
Have fun with this challenge! Share with your friends, get a group together or just do one yourself!
As a suggestion, we could have a 4th prize… ?!? I’m open for any sponsorships!
